Preparing for Certification as Associate Coach
(60 hours Level 1 Program)
This course is most appropriate for those who are looking for coach training and an initial ICF certification.
Content of the program includes:
- The ARC Model™ of Coaching
- The ICF Competencies (2021 version)
- Modules on Coaching re: Saboteurs, Feedback, Goal Setting, Decision-Making, Ethics, Hard Choices and Values
- Application Requirements and Process for Certification with ICF as Associate Coach
A typical session (4.5 hours on Zoom) includes:
- New content on coaching and the ICF competencies
- Coaching Demo or Creative Exercise to anchor the learning
- Coaching practice and feedback in small groups with Mentor Coach
- Journaling re: learnings
- Homework (if applicable)
Pathway to ACC Certification
Note: Think of these two columns as separate railroad tracks. Once you complete everything in Column A and pass your Oral Exam, we will send you a training certificate to submit with your ACC application. Most participants typically finish our program prior to completing their 100 hours of coaching.
Preparing for Certification as Professional Coach
(35 hours Level 2 Program)
This course is most appropriate for experienced coaches who are looking for additional training to meet the ICF requirements for Professional Coach. This version of the program concentrates on the understanding and use of the markers that define coaching proficiency at the level of ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Content of the program includes:
- The ARC Model™
- The ICF Competencies (2021 version)
- ICF PCC markers (2021 version)
- Application Requirements and Process for Certification with ICF as Professional Coach
In addition to the 7 virtual modules – the coach will receive 10 hours of Mentor Coaching
A typical session (4.5 hours on Zoom) includes:
- New content on the ICF Competencies and PCC Markers
- Coaching Demo or Creative Exercise to anchor the learning
- Coaching practice and feedback in small groups with Mentor Coach
- Journaling re: learnings
- Homework (if applicable)
Pathway to PCC Certification – 35 Hours
Preparing for Certification as Professional Coach
(65 hours Level 2 Program)
This course is most appropriate for experienced coaches who are looking for additional training to meet the ICF requirements for Professional Coach. This version of the program concentrates on the understanding and use of the markers that define coaching proficiency at the level of ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), but also advanced coaching skills for the experienced coach.
Content of the program includes:
- The ARC Model™
- The ICF Competencies (2021 version)
- ICF PCC markers (2021 version)
- Advanced coaching skills in such areas as: ethics in coaching, use of metaphor, powerful questions, group coaching, change/transition coaching, visualization, self coaching, transcript exercises
- Application Requirements and Process for Certification with ICF as Professional Coach
In addition to the 17 virtual sessions – the coach will receive 10 hours of Mentor Coaching
A typical session (4.5 hours on Zoom) includes:
- New content (e.g., the ICF Competencies, PCC Markers, or advanced coaching skills)
- Coaching Demo or Creative Exercise to anchor the learning
- Coaching practice and feedback in small groups with Mentor Coach
- Journaling re: learnings
- Homework (if applicable)
Pathway to PCC Certification – 65 Hours
Advanced Coaching Skills
(30 hours Level 2 Program)
This course is most appropriate for experienced coaches who want to continue their learning journey as an ICF certified coach. The course can be taken as a whole (which qualifies as 30 hours as a Level 2 Program).
Content of the program (10 virtual sessions) includes:
- The ARC Model™
- Overview of the revised ICF competencies and PCC markers (2021 version)
- Advanced coaching skills in such areas as: ethics in coaching, positive intelligence, deep dive on coaching presence, use of metaphor, powerful questions, group coaching, difficult choices, values coaching, use of assessments and coaching tools
A typical session (3 hours on Zoom) includes:
- New content (e.g., the ICF Competencies, PCC Markers, or advanced coaching skills)
- Coaching Demo or Creative Exercise to anchor the learning
- Coaching practice and feedback in small groups with Mentor Coach
- Journaling re: learnings
- Homework (if applicable)
CCCP Coaching Salons

This course is offered to any individual who has completed the CCCP Advanced Coaching Skills Program and wishes to deepen their learning and application of coaching skills and techniques and wants to do so within the CCCP community.
Content of the eight 90-minute sessions includes:
- Review of the Core Competencies/PCC Markers to increase Mastery,
- Anatomy of a Powerful Observation,
- Coaching a Group/Group Coaching,
- Imposter Syndrome as it affects both the Coach and their Client,
- Personal Values as a Pathway out of Imposter Syndrome,
- Identifying and working with your Shadow Coach,
- Deepening your Coaching via the Metaphor of Snorkel vs. Scuba Coaching, and
- Celebrating Special Moments for the Coach and/or their Client/s.
A Typical Session (90 minutes on Zoom) includes:
- New content on coaching,
- Creative exercises,
- Large and/or Small group discussion,
- Journaling.
